Apparently, the traditional pizza is getting a bit of a shake up for the Kids Cooking Workshop on July 18, 2025. This session, whimsically dubbed 'Pizza, But Not As You Know It', invites young aspiring chefs to join Chef Tony for a hands on adventure at the Eastwood Community Centre, 95 Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood. It seems they will be delving into some rather unconventional takes on everyone's favourite cheesy disc, using fresh ingredients and a healthy dose of imagination. Expect the unexpected, possibly even pizza shaped like a kangaroo.

During this culinary escapade, Chef Tony will be on hand to offer guidance, ensuring that no kitchen mishaps involve permanent glitter or too much spilt flour. Kids will get to explore making all sorts of creative bases and toppings, moving far beyond the usual pepperoni and pineapple. The best part is they get to gobble down their unique, sometimes eyebrow raising, creations at the end. It is a grand chance for them to think a bit outside the standard pizza box, experiment with flavour combinations that might just work, and hopefully build a bit of confidence in their cooking abilities, all without setting off the smoke detector.
