Born in regional SA, vocalist and keyboardist Alicia Joy – now Adelaide-based – was brought up on jams around her grandparents' kitchen table. A proud millennial with eclectic taste, Alicia leans into nostalgia covering pop songs from the 80s to now – think: Kate Bush covers Britney Spears.

When it comes to songwriting, Alicia is highly influenced by her eclectic music taste, which ranges from Johnny Cash and Kate Bush to Evanescence and Charlie Puth. Alicia Joy's original music makes light of heartache with songs that you can groove to.
