Don't throw it away; you have the opportunity to creatively design a collage with your children's artwork. Collage with Your Kid's Art Stash will show you how to create something beautifully wall-worthy with your collection of your children's art pieces.

In this workshop for parents and guardians, artist Margie Joy will lead you to create a meaningful artwork using paints, inks and other mark-making techniques and mediums. More than just a collage, this piece will be thoughtfully made to preserve these precious memories. Margie Joy Goodluck is a passionate mixed media artist, known for her expressive, vibrant and joyful artworks. She loves creating large paintings using pigmented inks, acrylics, collage papers and paint markers. She enjoys encouraging young and old to be creative and teaching is one way to do that. Margie Joy loves artworks created by children and is excited about helping parents bring their kids' art stash to life.

Located at Gallery 1855, 2 Haines Road, Tea Tree Gully, this workshop will be held on Thursday, 2 July 2026 from 9.15 am to 2 pm. Book here , $50 per participant. No artistic experience or skill required. All other art materials supplied. Bring along every sketch, doodle, school or kindy-made painting and take home a large collaged art-piece ready to display proudly in your home. There will be a break for a quick lunch, so please bring your own lunch or snacks. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for painting.
