Got an interest in music? Join these inclusive DJ workshops at the Pasadena Community Centre, 47 Adelaide Terrace, Pasadena, every Sunday. These FREE events are suitable for young people aged 13 to 24 years old.
Participants will learn and practice essential DJ skills, to mix, create and prepare for live performances both at the community centre and offsite. Workshop highlights include:
• Introduction to DJing and equipment with safe operating procedures
• Vinyl basics and understanding your audience
• Beatmatching and mixing fundamentals
• Building a DJ set
• Effects and sound manipulation
• Live streaming techniques
• Digital DJing and performance skills

DJ Aaronac will be the facilitator, and is a successful South Australian DJ, with extensive experience working in disability field as well as a qualified trainer, ensuring these sessions are welcoming and accessible to everyone. Workshops are hands-on and welcoming to all abilities. Workshops are held over two sessions on Sundays, starting from 10.30 am to 12 pm or 12.30 pm to 2 pm. Registration is for the whole Term, dates as follows :
