Located
80C Payneham Road, Stepney,
Ngani Pari-Arra Cultural Centre is a culturally significant space for truth-telling, connection, and healing. Formerly known as
the Otherway Centre, it has long served as a hub for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in South Australia.
In July 2025, the Centre was officially renamed
Ngani Pari-Arra - a Kaurna phrase meaning
Being together near the river - during a special NAIDOC Week event celebrating its revitalisation and renewed purpose. Guided by Uncle in Residence,
Uncle Les Wanganeen, Ngani Pari-Arra continues to evolve as a welcoming, culturally safe space for Aboriginal people and organisations.
