Kids turn into mini botanists in this hands-on workshop, getting up close with native plants by fiddling with leaf shapes, textures and colours. They will peer through microscopes at pollen grains and leaf bits that look like they belong in a sci-fi flick, then sketch it all in their nature journals to spark that inner artist and curious explorer.

Aimed at 5 to 12 year olds, who must come with a parent or guardian tagging along. Parents are welcome to join the doodling and observing fun, which beats staring at screens any day. Just book tickets for the kids, adults sneak in for free.
