Every Friday night during the Flinders University semester, CDW Studios hosts these casual open life drawing sessions, and the one on May 1, 2026 features a female model. Head up to Level 4 in The Myer Centre Adelaide, SA 5000, where its all uninstructed so no ones there to critique your wobbly lines or hidden talents. No experience required, whether youre a pro or just fancy scribbling something vaguely human shaped.

Seats are limited and reserved, so book ahead unless you enjoy standing and squinting. Easels and drawing horses are up for grabs on a first in best dressed basis, but youll need to bring your own pencils, paper and such, or pick them up from the art store downstairs if your supplies are as disorganised as mine usually are.
