Women composers, spanning continents and generations, meet in a weekend of musical storytelling. She Speaks : Concert 2 will be open by Bacewicz with restless energy, Clyne offers the still, meditative beauty of Within Her Arms, and Musgrave’s Night Windows sings with elegance for oboe and strings. Mason’s Upon Weightless Wings glistens with radiant colour, Cawrse unveils an evocative new song cycle, and Holst closes with a vivid reimagining of the Persephone myth. Three Australian Premieres and a World Premiere make this an experience you’ll hear nowhere else.

The concert will be held at Elder Hall - University of Adelaide, North Terrace, Adelaide on Saturday, 20 June 2026, starting at 7 pm, will feature Sara Duhig (Conductor), Kate Suthers (Director / Violin), Joshua Oates (Oboe), and Kyle Stegall (Tenor).
