Karoonda is home to Australia’s first day and night silo art installation, where you can marvel at the giant painted mural during the day and experience the unique, ever-changing illuminated art projections each evening.

The Karoonda Silo Art Project showcases an amazing large-scale mural created by renowned Australian street artist Heesco during the day. Come nightfall, the silos become one enormous backdrop for an impressive rolling projection of works by South Australian artists.

To view the 2026 Silo Projection calendar and featured artists, please go to this link . Rain, hail or shine, projection shows run all year round, every evening from sunset for approximately three hours. The show is programmed to play on a loop continually from sunset until approximately 10.30 pm. Please find details of featured artists for June to December 2026 as follows:
