While waiting for my coffee, I took in the space and realised that Veneziano is so much more than a standard café. It’s a combined espresso bar, specialty coffee store, and training studio that’s been an institution in the North Adelaide community since 2012.

Their rotating menu features micro lot single origins and the smooth Soar seasonal blend, making every visit feel like a mini global coffee tour.

And the best part? If you're staying somewhere less coffee-friendly (like I was), you can grab coffee in a bag to go—perfect for those Airbnb or family visits where proper espresso just isn’t on the cards.

One thing that really caught my eye was their All Filter Brewing section. They offer beautifully curated packs for Hario, Chemex, and Aeropress brewing methods - each with a free 250g bag of their seasonal single-origin coffee. Watching their team work the drip filter station was like witnessing a delicious kind of science experiment.

You can also stock up on filters and other accessories right there in-store—perfect if you want to upgrade your home setup.

What really sets Veneziano apart is its on-site coffee training studio. Whether you're a home barista or a seasoned pro, you can book in for espresso and filter classes run by Mike Wells, the SA Brewing & Barista Champion. From latte art to perfecting your brew ratio, it’s a fantastic way to deepen your coffee knowledge.
