Curious kids with a knack for creativity can dive into visual theatre at the Drama Centre Rehearsal Room in Adelaide on April 18, 2026. Its a school holiday gig where youll fiddle with props that morph into something unexpected, sketch out puppet parts, and puzzle over the basics of locations and characters that come alive in quirky ways.
Helen Stephen from Dead Puppet Society is guiding the chaos, teaching skills straight from their stage show The Riddle of Washpool Gully. Youll get hands-on with making and staging scenes using group antics, clunky hand-held lights, and clever worldbuilding tricks that might just turn your doodles into something stage-worthy.
