The University of South Australia is currently seeking participants for our next 4-day/3-night live-in sleep study. Recruitment will be open from July 2025 to December 2026.

The study aims to improve the performance of wearable technology to track performance and fatigue. The study will involve a period of sleep restriction (8 hour sleep on night 1 followed by 40 hours of wakefulness and an 8 hour overnight recovery sleep).

The study includes performance testing, glucose monitoring and saliva collections.



Eligibility Requirements
Gender: male and female
Age: 18-40 years
Location: University of South Australia, Magill Campus, Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory
Other criteria: Healthy, non-smoking adults with no history of sleep disorders

All meals are provided, and participants will be financially compensated with an honorarium of up to $500 for their participation in the study.
